Dear Senthuran: A Black Spirit Memoir by Akwaeke Emezi
This is a memoir in the form of a series of letters. I found this interesting; I couldn’t say I really got it, as the author talks a lot about their spiritual life and I am not spiritual at all, but I really liked the writing. I would definitely read more by this author.
Underdogs by Chris Bonnello
This is a YA novel about a group of neurodivergent teenagers in a Britain that has undergone a military coup. I didn’t really like this and didn’t finish reading it; it just didn’t appeal to me. I probably won’t read more by this author.
