This is a collection of short stories. I enjoyed these; they were all really interesting. I would definitely read more by this author.
Patsy by Nicole Dennis-Benn
This is a novel about Patsy, a Jamaican woman who moves illegally to New York, and Tru, the daughter she leaves behind. This took me a while to get into, but I did enjoy it in the end. Tru especially was a character I really empathised with. I would probably read more by this author.
