Monstress Volume 1 by Marjorie Liu and Sana Takeda
This is a graphic novel about Maika Halfwolf, a young woman trying to find out the truth about the entity living inside her. I found this really interesting; I liked the characters and the art. I would definitely read more by this author.
Baker Thief by Claudie Arseneault
This is a fantasy novel about a thief named Claire and Adèle, the police officer determined to catch her. I really enjoyed this; Claire and Adèle are great characters and the book was a fun read. I would definitely read more by this author.
