Travel Light by Naomi Mitchison
This is a fantasy novel about Halla, a young woman raised by bears and dragons. I liked this; it was an easy read, and I really loved Halla as a character. I would definitely read more by this author.
The Disappeared by Amy Lord
This is a novel about Clara, a woman living in Britain under a dictatorship. I liked this, despite the subject matter. The characters are interesting. I would definitely read more by this author.
Vagabonds! by Eloghosa Osunde
This is a novel about the city of Lagos and the people and spirits who inhabit it. I liked this; it’s a very interesting read. I would definitely read more by this author.
