So welcome to 2021. Let’s hope it’s better than 2020!
So what happened in 2020 on the blog?
I made 75 posts, mostly the reading project or writing project. They were mostly on time, or close to it. I didn’t write much poetry this year, hence I didn’t post much poetry on the blog. I started the One Hundred Sunsets series, and will try to carry on with that this year.
I would say I overall met my goals for the blog, which is good 🙂. I am basically setting the same goals for this year, of keeping up with the reading and writing projects, and I also hope to post a few more of the One Hundred Sunsets series. Any other content is a bonus.

So welcome to 2020.
Having learnt from last year’s aims, which turned out to be too ambitious, this year I only intend to keep up with the weekly reading project and monthly writing project posts. Anything else will be a bonus.
Looking back at last year, I had 81 posts over the year, which is only one more than 2018, which wasn’t a full year of blogging. That’s a definite drop in frequency, I think mainly because I posted a lot less poetry. I didn’t write much poetry after the beginning of last year, though, but I hope to write more this year. And I will try hard to put the weekly and monthly posts out on time.
So, on to the future, at one second per second.

This is a post to list the words I’ve used for this project. It will be updated monthly.

Happy new calendar year, for those of you on the Gregorian calendar!
And happy random day for the rest of you!
It seemed like an appropriate time to review what’s been going on with the blog, and maybe make some plans for this year.
I relaunched the blog on 2 July 2018, and I’ve written 82 blog posts since then, not including this one. That’s about 13-14 a month, or 3-4 a week, which I think is pretty good going – at least for me with my track record of abandoning things.
I started and have managed to continue my reading project, and have made a good start on the writing project. The favourite poems posts have been on a bit of a hiatus, but I hope to have some more of those later this year. Aside from that, I have a photography series of posts I’d like to do, but I need to actually take the photos!
There will also be some more of my longer, rambling identity or cancer-related posts, and I definitely intend to continue the Inkwarriors series. And there’ll be poetry, of course.
So I hope 2019 will be an interesting year on the blog.
